The Celebration of Light, Vancouver's annual summer fireworks festival, is scheduled to take place in July 2022.

This festival has been held every summer since 1977, and this year marks the 46th! The Powell Festival is held over two days and is expected to draw nearly 17,500 people to the venue.

A festival is usually held at Sunset Beach, which is also the end of the Pride Parade. There are also shows by drag queens on a large stage, so even those who do not usually go to gay bars can easily enjoy themselves.
